Bio
My name is Emiliano Lozano, I reside in Austin, TX and I've been tutoring since I was in college. It has always been a passion of mine to help others, especially in math and science.
My most recent experience tutoring was as a math tutor at Austin Community College. I tutored there for a couple of years in a range of subjects from basic algebra to college algebra and statistics. For the past two years, I've tutored many students for the ACT and have helped them improve their scores, some into the 30's.

Background
I have always enjoyed learning and my thirst for education has never ended. In college, I concentrated my studies in electrical engineering completing my undergraduate degree and worked designing computer chips for companies like Motorola, IBM, and Samsung. While working at IBM, I enrolled in graduate school and received my master's degree in electrical engineering. After 15 years of chip design work, I realized something was missing in my life and decided to take a break and to concentrate my time on exploring my passion for education.
During this break I started working at the Boys and Girls Club as a Youth Development Professional. It was the most rewarding job I have ever had. I got to do what I have always enjoyed the most, helping others. The sense of satisfaction I receive from helping someone learn and knowing I have made a difference is incomparable to anything else.
Through my education, I've taken many advance math courses like Calculus and Differential Equations.
As an engineer, I have very high ethics. Honesty is very important to me and I respect honest feedback. If I am not the right tutor for you just let me know, no hard feelings. The goal is to get you the help you need as soon as needed to help you learn the relevant material to prepare you for a good future. I enjoy tutoring and am very patient with students. I teach students to be efficient in their work and to learn through examples.
